
Welcome to Cal Milio

Cal Milio is a rural accommodation with two independent village houses, built in 1740. It is a stone house with a total of 5 rooms, attached to the old village wall. The house is located in the city center, next to the church and the town hall. It has been a house of saga of doctors, Francisco Martí Ricart (surgeon) – Pigs: 1814-1864, Antonio Martí Triquell (Surgeon) Pigs 1846-1928 and Emilio Martí Jove (Doctor) Pigs 1887-1921 where he was the last doctor of the family. Cal Milio 1 was the family home and Cal Milio 2 the consultation. Emilio Martí Jove, studied in Barcelona, at the Clínic hospital. He died very young due to pneumonia, and in his honor, his daughters Maria, Mercè and Francisca named him the house. Cal Milio.
